Graduate and Continuing Studies Library Orientation

This guide will help you navigate through all the resources your Muskingum University Library has available for Graduate and Continuing Studies students and faculty.

When is the library open?

The library's normal hours during the semester are:

Monday
7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday
7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Wednesday
7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Thursday
7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday
7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday
1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 

Can I have food and drink in the library?

Yes!

You can eat and drink in the library as long as:

  • Your food is snack-like and not an open plate or meal
  • You do not have food delivered to the library

Please let library staff know right away if you have a spill - we want to keep the area clean for everyone!

How can I make photocopies in the library?

Photocopies are available in the library for $.07 each. There are two photocopiers available on the main floor, and one downstairs.

Please ask at the Welcome Center if you need any help photocopying!

Can I scan in the library?

Yes!

The printers are also copiers and scanners. Scanned items can be sent to your email as a pdf.

Can I send a fax in the library?

Yes!

The Muskingum University Library's fax number is (740) 826-8404.

  • You may send faxes between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.
  • The cost for students and community members to send a fax (local or international) is $1.00 per page. The cover page costs $1.00.
  • The cost for Muskingum University faculty and staff to send fax is $.75 per page. Please provide an account number if charging the costs to a campus department.
